Any environment, wherever located, in which you’re not “labeled,” is one where you’re free to be your authentic self. It is liberating and energizing to interact with folks who see and appreciate you for who you truly are, as opposed to those who cannot objectively see you because they automatically and instinctively pigeon hole you based on the pecking order and prejudices in place within your tribe.

You are this particular species of butterfly that has a golden armor in its chrysalis stage. 💛💛💛 love this reflection on your relationship to liminal space. Powerful.

This reminded me of the way in which I have been looking for a healthy family to be included into since I never had (a healthy) one. It also made me reconsider my romanticization of Los Angeles.

It has a calming effect, thank you!

Living a similarly peripatetic existence, I loved this and I love those liminal in between spaces too, it’s like time doesn’t have any meaning when you’re on the move…

thank you, I wrote it to remind myself to love the liminal when I'm facing the uncomfortable parts of transition, glad it resonated with you x

thank you. If you can... don't let yourself to get too overwhelmed, its good being outside the US and remembering that it's just politics, we tend to treat it like a sport here, rooting for a winning team... according to all the astrologers I follow the US is experiencing our Pluto return (from our "birthdate" of 1776) and the apex is Nov 2024! So whatever happens, the transit we are in is revolutionary.... and will create new beginnings! Or that is how I am choosing to see it x
