I love your posts, thank you so much, Liz! Hooray to saying FUCK IT and living for now! I'm in my 50s, which is definitely the "Fuck It" decade. I have just stopped caring what other people think and I also wear the vintage on a regular ol' day. That Versace jacket is stunning, and of course why would you NOT wear it bowling??
Your readers are right - there is power in being invisible. You can do whatever the fuck you want, wear what you want, say what you want. Pass along that wisdom to the youngs!
Spoken word at its finest. I have chilllsss all up and down my spine. *mic drop* Kendrick would be proud! Ha. Love you and thank you for writing this Liz!!!
your (now deleted) auto-pilot emoji response is disappointing. i subscribed to hear F-tier celebrity gossip and condescending claims of working class solidarity from america's petulant royalty.
using the overplayed
“”revealing hollywood secrets”” ploy to entice people into giving you $ for your “writing” ultimately amounts to an admission of a lack of talent. i’d suggest changing your approach if you want to pretend to have dignity

I love this. Relate so much. I grew up in the 70's and fantasized about the amazing boots and pantsuits and disco outfits I'd wear when I grew up, and I DID WEAR THEM! And the conflict between not giving a fuck and then choosing TO rebel, oddly, by giving a fuck about certain things and not others. I never understood my mother's facelift in her 50's until now, when I'm in my 50's and I'm like, yeah, I get it! Is it regressive? Probably? But also fuck it, why not, mom? LIving is the thing, however we do it, it's living.
I just took the deepest breath of my life.
Love to hear it! *listen to the last bars of Doechii’s “Denial is a River”

This is very relatable - except smoking. Happy to see you're mentioning River. I was the vegetarian 9 year old in the suburbs of a smalltown 👽
Women we age like fine wine can’t wait to hear about your 70s 💋
